Resident Evil 4 Remake Is Now Available For The iPhone 15 Pro, Compatible iPad And Mac Models, With A 50 Percent Launch Discount

After launching in March earlier this year for multiple platforms, the 2004 survival horror classic Resident Evil 4 Remake is now available for purchase for the iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max, along with various Mac and iPad models. The game can be purchased through the App Store, and as an added bonus, Apple device owners get an immediate 50 percent off on the main game. Fortunately, there is plenty of time to decide on your purchase because the discount ends on January 17.

The main game consumes around 30GB of data, and with the discount, it is available for $29.99 until the aforementioned period. As for the remaining DLC, such as Ada Wong’s Separate Ways and more, customers need to pay an additional $14.99 to experience additional survivor horror content. There are also some ‘Weapon Upgrade Ticket’ that you can purchase if you want to improve various statistics of your weapons to make them more effective in combat, but we recommend going through a regular playthrough like the majority of players instead of making purchases like this.

Overall, Resident Evil 4 Remake has a storage requirement of 70GB. Also, if you are worried about how the AAA game will perform, Resident Evil Village recently launched for the iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max, and it too has been developed on the RE Engine, which delivers exceptional visuals and is highly optimized to run well, even on low-end hardware. Early testing shows that Resident Evil Village performed decently on the iPhone 15 Pro Max, with users able to maintain a solid 60FPS at the HD+ resolution with Apple’s MetalFX upscaling technology enabled.

With an M2 iPad Pro that features 16GB of unified RAM, Apple’s current flagship tablet breezes through the game at the highest image quality settings running at its native 2732 x 2048 resolution, which is highly impressive for a device this thin. While Resident Evil 4 Remake is slightly more demanding than Resident Evil Village, we are confident that it will deliver a playable experience on compatible Apple devices, and like always, we will have several performance comparisons for you shortly, so stay tuned.
