Latest FCC Filing Hints At Samsung Galaxy S24 FE’s Imminent Launch, Poised To Dominate Every Mid-Range Smartphone In The Market

Samsung owes its popularity to its flagship smartphones, which are a hit among users and give others some serious competition. Although the high-end devices are what the company is best known for, the tech giant has been actively working on its budget-friendly range that caters to users who look for premium features but a phone that does not take a toll on the budget. Its FE series might be the next best alternative to the flagship models, with users anticipating the upcoming S24 FE variant. Recent FCC certifications might have confirmed that the release would happen soon.

The Galaxy S24 FE has appeared on the FCC website, confirming the launch to be not far off

Samsung’s FE series has recently gained popularity for offering the same specifications and performance as the flagship devices, except for some negligible downgrades, at a much more affordable price. The series helps cater to a wider audience, especially those who are price-sensitive but seek premium features.

Users have started anticipating the upcoming Galaxy S24 FE way before its launch, with the FE phones remaining a hot topic for leaks. While we have seen the budget model make it to certification sites, recently, the device has appeared on the FCC website, giving further insights into the upcoming model.

As spotted by 91mobiles, the Galaxy S24 FE global model has appeared on the FCC website with the model number SM-S721B/DS. This is the same model number as previously seen on a Samsung France support page that was later taken down. The document confirms the model and gives us some key details on what the device will come with.

The S24 FE is said to come with Wi-Fi 6, NFC, 5G, GNSS capabilities, wireless charging, and Bluetooth 5.3 connectivity. The phone’s battery is written with the model numbers EB-BS721ABE and EB-BS721ABY, and we also notice a charger that is identified with the model number EP-TA800, which indicates Samsung’s 25W charging adapter.

While the listing does not contain much information, speculations regarding an October launch have already surfaced. With the recent FCC spotting, it does appear that the launch can happen very soon, although the launch window cannot be certain until official confirmation. From what we know, the S24 FE model would feature a larger 6.7-inch FHD+ display and have a refresh rate of 120Hz. We are also expecting a jump in the brightness from the previous variant and are now moving to 1900 nits of peak brightness.

The budget phone sports a triple camera layout with a 50MP primary camera, 12MP ultrawide sensor, and 8MP optical zoom lens. It is said to be packed with a 4,565mAh battery, and rumor has it that an Exynos 2400e processor would power the phone. More details on the S24 will emerge as we approach the launch date.
