First Galaxy Z Flip 6 Renders Show A Flatter Design, Same Cover Display, And Camera Alignment

After looking at the gorgeous Galaxy Z Fold 6 renders recently, we are now getting a chance to look at the CAD-based renders of the upcoming Galaxy Z Flip 6. It appears that Samsung has not made many changes aside from giving the device somewhat flatter sides.

The Galaxy Z Flip 6 in mint looks really good, but why is Samsung not making any changes

The leaked renders show that the device still sports that same cover display on the outside and that the double-camera system is still in place. It appears that in order to keep the $999 price tag, the company is not looking to make a lot of changes that could bump up the price.

As far as the looks are concerned, the Galaxy Z Flip 6 does not really look all that different from its predecessor aside from the sides that are now flat. It is obvious that Samsung is going for a uniform design language.

The new renders do show a mint colorway that we might get to see. This is something that is slowly gaining traction thanks to Google, and honestly, I do like it. The flip phones from Samsung have always been about fun, and it is nice to see that Samsung is keeping this tradition alive with the Galaxy Z Flip 6.

As far as the specs are concerned, the Galaxy Z Flip 6 is said to bring the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 under the hood. The cover display is going to be 3.4-inch with the internal display being 6.7-inch. There have been rumors about Samsung upgrading the main sensor to a 50-megapixel, but we cannot confirm it at the moment. The phone is going to run Android 14 out of the box with all the bells and whistles from Samsung sprinkled, including Galaxy AI.

Regarding the release date, the Galaxy Z Flip 6 and the Galaxy Z Fold 6 will launch sometime in July, later this year. There is also word about a low-cost alternative for the Z Fold 6 and if something like that does materialize, we will keep you posted about its existence.
