I believe that the Asus Zenfone series is perhaps the most underrated flagship smartphone series available in the market. The Asus Zenfone 10 was such a great phone with its small and pocketable size, so when rumors started making the round that the series might be killed off, it made many people sad. Thankfully, Asus was quick to debunk any rumors, and today marks the official death of that rumor since Asus Zenfone 11 now shows up on Google Play Console, and well, it packs the latest Snapdragon 8 Gen 4. the chipset that is still awaiting its official release.
Asus has not given up on the Zenfone 11, as the phone shows up in Google Play Console sporting flagship specs
The Google Play Console does not give much information aside from confirming the model of the phone as well as the screen resolution, RAM, chipset, and OS version. Unsurprisingly, the Asus Zenfone 11 will be running on Snapdragon 8 Gen 4. It will also have Android 14 powering the device, with up to 16 gigs of RAM and FHD+ resolution. You can have a look at the listing below:
Aside from the details mentioned above, the listing does not reveal more about the Asus Zenfone 11, and honestly, I am not surprised. The Google Play Console listing, however, has always been accurate, so there is nothing much to worry about as far as the authenticity of this leak is concerned. If you are wondering when this phone might come out, we will have to wait for a couple more months since the company has just announced its ROG Phone 8 Pro, so it will be fair if it takes its sweet time to come up with the new flagship.
It is still good to see that Asus has not given up on the Zenfone lineup, and pretty soon, we will be seeing the Asus Zenfone 11 hitting the market. I just hope the company does not give up on the small form factor because that is one of the major selling points of this particular flagship, and it would be really sad to see it go.
I am excited about the Zenfone 11, and I am looking forward to giving it a try. I am really hoping that it manages to deliver all the performance chops that we have come to expect from Asus, and while it will not be as aggressive as its gamer-esque brother, it will still be a worthy flagship for anyone who is looking to get a phone that can easily fit inside a pocket.
