Considering how we are very close to 2024, we are going to start seeing a lot of devices pop up, and today, we have information on the Asus ROG Phone 8 Ultimate. While the name can be a mouthful, the phone has gone through official certification. Sadly, the certification only confirms that the phone is going to support 65W fast charging, and while that might be disappointing for some, I believe it is more than enough.
The Asus ROG Phone 8 Ultimate is going to offer 65W fast charging
The Asus ROG Phone 8 Ultimate has gone through China’s 3C certification, and the phone is going to support 65W fast charging, as mentioned before. You will be getting a bundled charger supporting the latest Qualcomm Quick Charge support. This is certainly good news for people who hate buying new chargers with every new device. You can look at the information on the charging below:
We do know that there are going to be three Asus ROG Phone 8 devices, including the Ultimate variant as the top-tier model. You will also get the Pro and base variants if you are looking to save a bit of money. How Asus manages to create a differentiation between these devices is still something that we have not seen, but it will be interesting to see what the company has in store for all of us, and I am looking forward to seeing the new phones.
The Asus ROG Phone 8 Ultimate is going to launch with possibly an overclocked version of Snapdragon 8 Gen 3, along with a ton of RAM, very aggressive looks, a cooling fan, and possibly more RGB lighting. The phone should also be running Android 14 out of the box and should be launching in the 1st quarter of 2024. Unfortunately, the details are scarce at the moment, but you can expect more information to come forward in the coming weeks, and as always, we will keep you posted.
